Last updated: July 14, 2026

This page explains how to delete your financial information from FINBL while keeping your account. It is useful if you want to start fresh without closing your account.

How to delete your data

You can delete your data in either of these two ways:

  1. In the app: open Settings → Account → Danger zone → “Delete my data” and confirm.
  2. By email, writing to us from the address associated with your account at: privacy@finbl.com

What data is deleted

The following is deleted, among others:

  • Your transactions and balances.
  • Your connected bank accounts and their open banking consents.
  • Your goals, contributions, debts and payments.
  • Uploaded documents and their analyses.
  • Your assistant conversations and its memory.
  • The patterns and analyses generated from your data.

What is kept

Your account and login details (name, email, country) are kept, as well as your subscription. You can keep using FINBL and reconnect your accounts or add transactions whenever you want.

It is irreversible

Data deletion cannot be undone. We recommend exporting or downloading anything you need before continuing.
