Delete your account

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your FINBL account and all associated data. When you delete your account, your access is closed and your data is erased irreversibly, except for information we are legally required to retain.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account in either of these two ways:

  1. In the app: open Settings → Account → Danger zone → “Delete account” and follow the confirmation steps.
  2. By email, writing to us from the address associated with your account at: privacy@finbl.com

What data is deleted

Deleting your account erases, among others:

  • Your profile and login details (name, email, country, date of birth).
  • Your connected bank accounts and open banking consents, which are revoked with the provider.
  • All your transactions and balances.
  • Your goals, contributions, debts and payments.
  • The documents you have uploaded and their analyses.
  • Your assistant conversations, its memory and your usage history.
  • The financial patterns and analyses generated from your data.

What is kept and for how long

We may retain certain information for the time strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations (for example, billing data required by tax regulations). Backups that may contain your data are automatically deleted within a maximum of 90 days.

Subscriptions

If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled as part of the deletion process. No refunds are issued for periods already billed.

Timeframe

Requests are normally processed within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been deleted.
